Newsletter February 2024

We kicked off 2024 with renewed energy to pursue a world where everyone can be as healthy as possible. Since our start, more than 40 years ago, Wemos has witnessed several political, social, and economic changes. In every situation, we remain committed to our mission to achieve global health justice. For this, it is important that the Netherlands keeps investing in global health, like we emphasize with many other organizations. And we have more to share with you: a new video for our access to medicines campaign, an upcoming policy brief launch on health investments in Ethiopia, new members on our supervisory board, and more. Enjoy the read!

The government should create better ‘rules of the game’ to ensure access to new medicines and reduce the pressure on the Dutch healthcare budget. The video is part of a Dutch campaign by Wemos for fair medicine prices.
